Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, and plantations. It is threatened by habitat loss.The vinaceous-breasted amazon (Amazona vinacea) is a species of parrot in the family Psittacidae. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay.

The vinaceous-breasted amazon is colorful parrot 30cm (12in) long. It is mostly green, with a red forehead, bluish nape, and a vinous-maroon breast.
